Why Choose Us

Why Choose Us for a Rubber Roof

Rubber roofs in Wetherby laid on sound decking and finished cleanly at every edge.

Fewer Joints to Fail

On most domestic roofs the membrane covers the whole area in one piece, so there are few seams for water to find.

Flexible in All Weather

The membrane stays supple in summer heat and winter cold, moving with the roof instead of cracking.

Neat Edge Details

Upstands, corners and trims are formed carefully, because that is where any flat roof is most likely to leak.

One Person Responsible

Evian Roofing is owner run, so the person who quotes your rubber roof answers for the finished work.

What Is a Rubber Flat Roof?

A rubber roof is a flexible membrane bonded to the roof deck. On most domestic flat roofs it covers the area in one piece or with very few joints, which leaves fewer places for water to get in.

Is a Rubber Roof Better Than Felt?

Each has strengths. Rubber has few or no joints and stays flexible in all weather. Torch-on felt is tougher underfoot. The right choice depends on how the roof is used and its shape.

Can a Rubber Roof Go Over My Existing Flat Roof?

It depends on the condition of what is there. In most cases the old covering is stripped so the decking can be checked, because a new membrane is only as good as the deck beneath it.

Can a Rubber Roof Be Repaired?

Yes. Small punctures and lifted edges on an existing rubber membrane can usually be repaired. If the membrane has failed widely or the decking is soft, replacement is the better option.
